The main objectives of the committee are to facilitate the smooth functioning of the academic schedule of Lectures, student’s seminars, internal assessments, student punctuality and discipline. The committee is chaired by Director of the Programme, and all other faculty members of the department are its members.

A senior faculty member of the department plays the role of the class Incharge and looks after the parents meetings and students counseling and monitors the syllabus coverage. Apart from the Class Incharge, there are two other faculty members who play the role of Class Counselors. These class counselors maintain the profiles of 20 students of that particular class, assigned to them. They keep track of the students’ academic performance, involvement in co-curricular and extra curricular activities, behavior, attendance, etc. and initiate necessary actions when need arises.
