Computer Laboratory of Alluri Institute of Management Sciences is yet another place of cynosure which is fully air-conditioned encompassing servers in UNIX, WINDOWS 2003, LAN with Pentium Systems. It has sufficient number of connected terminals to accommodate at a time a large number of students. Further the whole set up is in tune with Information Technology revolution taking place around the globe. Again to impart training in latest developments in the sphere, upgradation is a continuous activity, extending the facility of accessibility to the students round the clock.

The programme is geared to meet the need to integrate Information Technology with all the functional activities of business organization and in such a context the computer complex plays a crucial role especially in the process of business decision-making.

The computer laboratory of the college is well equipped with the latest computers (HCL - Pentium IV DualCore & Core2Duo processors ) and Celeron Systems. It has thirty computers with DVD ROM drives and inkjet printers. The laboratory is exclusively used by the students for their computer learning. The ratio of computers to students is 1:1. The staff and students also use the facilities for their academic work like thesis and projects. Some in-house programmes are also being developed for the benefit of students and staff.

General equipments purchased for the office use include Nelcoplain paper copier, network electronic typewriter, gestener electronic stencil cutter, modi xerox, P.A.system, water coolers and refrigerators. A computer Cabins with PCs is setup, for office purpose.

Power Backup :
To avoid inconvenience due to power failure/cut, the college is equipped with high power 20 KVA generator power back up. The computer lab is provided with a 6 KVA * 3 & 600 VA*4 EMMERSON UPS back up which caters to the need of 237 computers.
